In 2019, there was another expedition on behalf of the Mirpuri Foundation. The goal was to increase public awareness about the threat of global warming to life on Earth.

The Antarctic Peninsula has been particularly affected by global warming, being hit by hot air and water from the North. Temperatures have risen by 5 degrees Fahrenheit since 1950. The western side is heat up several times faster than the rest of the planet. Researchers say that ninety percent of its glaciers are now retreating, and this is a situation that affects the whole planet.

The Book: ‘Terra Australis Incongnita’:

Paulo Mirpuri, President, and Founder of the Mirpuri Foundation published a book regarding his expedition to the South Pole.
