The Problem
What we are doing
Nothing worth doing is ever easy
Medicine has made a huge progress over the last 200 years. New technology played an important role specially during the last 50 years. New diagnosis tools, new treatment drugs, equipment and platforms. Consequently life longevity expectations have increased significantly in modern societies. However we are facing new disorders and diseases that did not exist or were pretty rare not far ago, an important number of them
related to wrong lifestyle and nutrition habits that can and shall be avoided and corrected. And despite the advances in medicine in developed countries there are still vast parts of the world where not even the most basic healthcare system is available to populations. Millions of people worldwide continue to suffer or die prematurely from curable diseases and this is one of the largest tragedies in today's world.

Mirpuri Foundation supports research, education and programs in Medicine that can contribute to further develop medical science or bring healthcare to populations in desperate need across the globe.
