The Mirpuri Foundation was present at the Web Summit 2023 Edition in Lisbon, the world’s biggest technology conference. Building upon its successful participation in 2018, the Foundation actively engages with the Summit’s diverse community of entrepreneurs, innovators, and thought leaders, showcasing its commitment to addressing global challenges through sustainable solutions.

Aligning with the Foundation’s mission to promote sustainable development and environmental protection, the Summit “Where the Future Goes to Be Born” focus on cutting-edge technologies and innovative solutions and, this year saw a record of 2,600 startups, with more than 70,000 attendees from 160 countries.

Paulo Mirpuri, President and Founder of the Mirpuri Foundation, in a past edition addressed the Summit’s Planet:Tech stage, a space dedicated to exploring some of the most topical environmental and economic issues of our time. Notably, Paulo Mirpuri highlighted the Foundation’s commitment to tackling urgent environmental problems, emphasizing flagship campaigns like “Turn The Tide On Plastic” and “Save The Coral Reefs.” These initiatives aimed to combat issues such as ocean plastic pollution and preserving coral reefs.
