The Mirpuri Foundation “Save The Coral Reefs” aircraft just completed an around the world lap, raising awareness for this unprecedented campaign to fight the destruction of coral reefs.
During this trip, that started in Beja, Portugal, on the evening of May 14th 2020, and ended in the same city on May 18th 2020, the Hi Fly A380 aircraft covered 31047 km in a flight time of 33 hours and 45 minutes, with stops in Tianjin, P.R. China, and Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
Corals around the world are dying on our watch and if no action is taken, these beautiful ecosystems will disappear by 2050. With 50% of the world’s corals already gone, action needs to be taken immediately and awareness is the first step.
