The Mirpuri Foundation partners with ICRI for The 2023 Ocean Award, focusing on raising awareness and finding solutions for coral reefs across the globe.
The prestigious international Mirpuri Foundation Ocean Award will be presented for the third time to companies or individuals who present a scientific project that has a beneficial impact on ocean health, and this year is awarded with ICRI – The International Coral Reef Initiative, a global partnership between Nations and organizations which strives to preserve coral reefs and related ecosystems around the world. The winner will be announced during the Awards Ceremony at the close of the Mirpuri Foundation Sailing Trophy – one of the premier regattas of the international sailing calendar – which takes place annually in Portugal to raise awareness and important funds for marine conservation projects worldwide.
Information for applicants
The Ocean Award aims to celebrate companies or individuals who present a scientific project that has a beneficial impact on the health of our oceans. This prize provides the opportunity to receive global recognition and gain exposure for exemplary environmental work. You can participate by submitting your Coral Reefs scientific project in a scientific poster.
How to apply PLEASE EXPOSE YOUR PROJECT IN A SCIENTIFIC POSTER: Size A2, File format in pdf, jpg or tiff (300dpi). And send to: firstname.lastname@example.org until 2 June 2023.
Jury The Mirpuri Foundation/ICRI Ocean Award posters will be judged by an esteemed panel of sustainability and coral reefs experts.
Prize A trophy for “The Mirpuri Foundation/ICRI Ocean Award of the year 2023” and a prize money of €5.000 as a recognition for the excellent contribution for a better world.
Award Ceremony The Mirpuri Foundation/ICRI Ocean Award ceremony will be held on July 9, 2023. The best scientific posters will also be exhibited at the 2023 edition of the Mirpuri Foundation Sailing Trophy.
