The Mirpuri Foundation is honoured to sponsor the construction of the new library at Colégio São José in Beja, Portugal. This new library is set to play a pivotal role in the educational development of the school, providing an essential resource for both current and future generations of students.
In response to a call from APECEF (Association for Education, Culture, and Training), a private social solidarity institution (IPSS), the Mirpuri Foundation proudly agreed to sponsor the expansion and reconstruction of the school’s library. The initiative is part of the school’s ongoing development, which began in 2022 with just 13 students. Today, the school has grown to 52 students and is expanding to accommodate a second cycle of education, including a new 5th-grade class. The enlargement of the library will help meet the growing needs of the school’s student population, offering a better educational experience and resources for a thriving community.
The new library, set for completion in 2025, will become an integral part of the school’s facilities. It will support students’ educational journeys, foster a love for reading and learning, and strengthen the school’s role within the local community. The Mirpuri Foundation’s contribution ensures that the school has the necessary resources to continue providing quality education as it expands its academic offerings.
As a gesture of gratitude for the foundation’s generous support, Colégio São José has invited all benefactors to visit the school and follow the progress of the renovations. A special commemorative plaque will be unveiled during the grand opening of the library in 2025, in recognition of the Mirpuri Foundation’s sponsorship.

The Mirpuri Foundation remains committed to supporting initiatives that benefit society, promote social responsibility, and contribute to the betterment of future generations. This sponsorship exemplifies the foundation’s dedication to helping local communities and enhancing educational opportunities for young people.
