The Mirpuri Foundation participated in Malta Aviation Conference and Expo (MACE), an international event aligned with the not-for-profit’s Aviation Programme.
Included in the Sustainable Operations session, the presentation was given by Mirpuri Foundation’s representative Ana Agostinho, and was entitled “Driving change towards a sustainable flight path”. The key note speech introduced the groundbreaking initiatives in the airline industry, working alongside Hi Fly airline for the first single-use plastic free flights in the world. It also detailed the urgency in leading the aviation industry towards sustainability.
This year’s edition of MACE was dedicated to the general topic of Sustainable Aviation Industry, particularly focusing on Sustainable Finance, Sustainable Operations and Sustainable Regulation.
Ian Borg, Malta’s Minister for Transport, Infrastructure and Capital Projects, Richard Aboulafia, Vice President of Analysis at Teal Group, and Joe Sultana, Consultant on European and Global Air Traffic Management, were some of the key speakers of this event.
Apart from live sessions and a virtual expo, the conference also provided dedicated meeting rooms for private and public meetings, roundtables and one to one chats.
MACE is Malta’s largest aviation conference and counts with influential speakers from all around the world, comprising policy makers, operators, aviation industry professionals, legal and regulatory consultants, and global users.
