Businessman Mal Sandford raced the GT CUP Championship and helped raise awareness to the Mirpuri Foundation’s values through his new and branded Aston Martin GT4 with 450 horsepower. The car ended up in 5th place in its class in all of the 4 races across the weekend.
The mythical sports car competition happened this weekend, with two races on Saturday and two races on Sunday. The competition will have seven races throughout the season under the same format and taking in iconic UK tracks such as Silverstone, Brands Hatch, Snetterton, and Donington.
This is not the first time Mal Sandford races while spreading the Foundation´s message. Sandford did it before in iconic circuits as the Silverstone, Spa and Paul Ricard and 24 Hours of Le Mans. Now, he joined the Whitebridge Motorsport Team, that won this competition last year.
The Mirpuri Foundation branded car will race once again in Snetterton in the United Kingdom, during the weekend of 11-12 of May, further promoting the cause and the non-profit organisation’s work.
“It was a consistent weekend of 5th positions in every race which I was extremely happy with, considering we were running the new car with a new team (2018 champions – Whitebridge Motorsport)”, says Mal Sandford.
“As always we show our own support by carrying the Mirpuri Foundation on the car to help spread their important messages to as many people as possible.”
