The Mirpuri Foundation will be one of the first women’s teams ever to race the high-speed, high-performance M32 catamarans in the fight for the GKSS Women’s Trophy, the first all-female tournament in  the World Match Racing Tour.

Taking place in Marstrand, Sweden, between the 4th and the 8th of July, the Mirpuri Foundation Team will be led by the Portuguese skipper Mariana Lobato and will be comprised of  crew members Lovisa Karlsson (SWE), Malin Holmberg (SWE), Hannah Diamond (GBR) and Bianca Cook (NZL).

The World Match Racing Tour (WMRT) is the leading professional match racing series and features world class sailors, America’s Cup heroes and Olympic champions. It consists  of several events around the globe that are used to create a leaderboard from which the top 12 teams are invited to the Match Racing World Championship Final. Each stage of the championship consists of  one-on-one duels of two identical boats racing against each other with one purpose: to be the first to cross the finish line.
